REHOVOT, ISRAEL, October 14th, 2015 –VIMMI is announcing a new milestone achievement in its international expansion plans, with an alliance with Viasat Ukraine, part of MTG group.
ViaSat, after a long, rigorous selection process, has outsourced its video delivery operations to VIMMI due to its innovative and cost effective technology. With this move, VIMMI provides a Media Delivery Platform that supports secured, HD live and VOD content based on Vimmi’s licensing and 24×7 operation business model. “ViaSat was focused on innovation, and never lost sight of its goals to meet demand for video over internet in Ukraine” said Eitan Koter, Co. This partnership has proved highly beneficial to ViaSat in the form of better management of operations with VIMMI’s Network Operation Center (NOC) services, available round the clock. It has installed and set up its software technology within the internal ViaSat IP network, and help reduce operational costs and launch times by a sizeable amount. ViaSat’s subscribers now have access to the highest quality video with available on dedicated Set Top Box and mobile applications.
